R&B Altatop Aivy Red has making her name in the 3STAR Breeding Program
R&B Altatop Aivy Red (AltaTop Red x Alaska Red)
During the GenHotel Selection Sale of August 2020, Batouwe and Roubos Holsteins sold the 161 gRZG scoring R&B Altatop Aivy Red, a Koepon AltaTop-Red granddaughter of the well-known bull dam Batouwe Salsa Aiko Red VG-85. At the time, Aivy-Red was the number 1 RZEuro AltaTop-Red and the number 3 gRZG (161 gRZG) AltaTop worldwide!
GenHotel saw the high potential in Aivy-Red and bought her during the GenHotel Selection Sale. Flushes made with Poppe Flight Red, Koepon AltaRefine Red and BGP FB Ridercup resulted in multiple offspring and embryos from Aivy-Red were also exported to a German AI organisation. The combination made with sire Poppe-bred Flight Red, resulted in the two high RZG full sisters 3STAR Airbabe Red and 3STAR Airlight Red. Both are contracted by German AI-studs for embryos.
R&B Altatop Aivy Red was out of a total of ten female offspring from Rhala RE Quickstep Red (by Alaska Red), the highest based on her gRZG. Dam Quikstep Red also bred R&B Sw Aimy Red, the number 1 NVI Swingman-Red and number 1 Red NTM$ heifer in the world! The continued breeding strength of this Altitude RDC line continues over several generations, a good example is also granddam Aiko VG-85. She made a big impression within the Red Holstein breeding as well, because five of her sons were sold to different AIs. One of the most famous sons is Rhala RE Blues-Red, which became the number 1 R&W NVI sire in the Interbull rankings of December 2022.
R&B Altatop Aivy Red calved at the end of January and is projected at 9,408kgM with 4.39% fat and 3.51% protein in 305 days. At the moment, daughter 3STAR Astrid RDC A2A2, an eight-month-old heifer by BGP FB Ridercup, is offered through the 3STAR Red Genetics Dealroom.
