Tirsvad 3STAR Mars Aros PP Red (Mars P Red)
In 2022, an opportunity arose to purchase a promising homozygous polled heifer calf, Tirsvad 3STAR Mars Aros PP Red, who is a Mars P Red of the brood cow Amber PP Red VG-86. This interesting heifer was sold during the SonderKollektion by Tirsvad Genetics and GenHotel. Fast forward nearly three years, this former sale heifer has been in lactation for some time now and has achieved a VG score!
Aros PP Red stood out as the no 1 Mars P Red daughter in Germany and has also performed exceptionally well in other countries, including Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and France, highlighting her great potential. Her dam, Amber PP Red, is a homozygous polled Solitair P Red daughter, which Tirsvad Genetics and GenHotel purchased a few years earlier for their joint breeding program. Due in part to Amber, the homozygous polled population has significantly increased across Europe for both male and female animals. Notable sons of Amber PP Red include Member PP Red, Ranking P Red, and Ambo P Red.

Aros was purchased by HWH Holsteins, who then flushed her with high, available polled bulls. This was successful, because of the total of eight females, only one was heterozygous and seven homozygous polled! Her male descendants were good enough to sell to interested AI organizations, as a result of which four sons were sold to different AIs. One of these sons is HWH Get Red PP s. Globed P Red, who is at RinderAllianz.
