Tirsvad Battlecry Nioniche named ''Miss Denmark 2023'!
Tirsvad Battlecry Nioniche EX-93
Recently the Danish National Show 'Landsskuet 2023' took place, where Danish dairy farmers participated with their best cows from multiple breeds and thus competed for the prestigious title 'Miss Denmark 2023'. Holstein Senior and Reserve Grand Champion of 2022, Tirsvad Battlecry Nioniche EX-93, after being calved again, managed to compete for the title 'Miss Denmark' again this year and with success!
The now 5th calver Tirsvad Battlecry Nioniche EX-93 is a De-Su Battlecry daughter, which decends via well-known granddam Tirsvad Bookem Nessie VG-89 from the American brood cow Tui Onyx Nick. Onyx Nick managed to ground her roots through Europe through her granddaughters RUW Neblina VG-87 and Nimry VG-86. Many bulls emerged from this bloodline, including the former top bull of the Netherlands Tirsvad Nautic (Atlantic x Nessie VG-89). The by Tirsvad Genetics bred Nionice EX-93 was sold to the Danish dairy farm Skovgaard Holstein, where the Battlecry enjoyed a fantastic show year in 2022. After freshening again, the pitch-black show diva took the title 'Miss Denmark 2023' this year!
Also in the Intermediate Holstein class, a breeding product of Tirsvad Genetics competed under the wings of Skovgaard Holstein in the showring. Tirsvad K&L Kenobi Magic EX-91, bred by Madsen and GenHotel, is a direct daughter of multiple bull dam and very famous Pen-Col Superhero Mistral VG-89! This makes the EX-91 scored Kenobi, a maternal-sister to bulls Tirsvad Predar and Tirsvad 3STAR Simon Mumbai P, but also to the top-breeding Tirsvad K&L Riveting Magnolia GP-84. Magic took a fourth place in her class and won the NTM competition. In the Netherlands there are two Progenesis Bennie daughters, of which 3STAR Tirsvad Magic is with 151 gRZG the highest. This Bennie from Magic EX-91 is pregnant with Poppe 3STAR Manitu and will calve this fall.
