Poppe Fienchen, a tremendous brood cow!
Poppe Fienchen 580 RDC VG-89 (s. Stol Joc)
Poppe Fienchen 580 RDC VG-89 at Poppe Holsteins in The Netherlands is a very special cow and one of the best Stol Joc daughters worldwide. She is the oldest cow in the barn at Poppe and still going strong. Fienchen is backed by the American cow family of Ren-Bow Enhancer Feather-Red EX-92, which is transmitting a lot of milk and strong, wide & well balanced frames.
In April Fienchen is rescored at 10 years of age with VG-89 for general appearance. Furthermore she reached this month the milestone of 100.00 kgs milk lifetime in her 5th lactation, despite the many ET-sessions. During her 3rd lactation she peaked at almost 80 kg milk/day and produced in 305 days 19.323 kg milk. In the meantime she has more than 25 direct daughters and numerous grand and greatgrand daughters, including a big number of red ones and red carriers.
There is a lot of interest from AI-studs for the Fienchen family. Several bulls are in AI's in Europe, including Poppe Ferdi (Boss x VG-86 Danillo x Fienchen), who got his first proof in April this year. His breeding pattern is very allround with positive scores for the components, health traits and type, with remarkable high scores for chest width and thurl width. AI Kampen, the owner of Ferdi, will show a progenygroup of him at the National Show in June.
