The page of Piet van Rees (PR Holsteins) is updated again with fantastic results from the recent classification of the 2.5 months fresh milking heifer from the Ammon-Peachey Shauna/Wesswood-HC Rudy Missy cow family.
The success of the cows bred by Van Rees remains huge! The 2.01 year old DG NH Arrow daughter P.R. Glennis 2 was scored for the first time. In March, this heifer calved from an Aurora Mitchell heifer calf and then rose to a daily production of more than 35 kg of milk. Her 305-day production currently stands at 9,118kgM with 4.13% fat and 3.39% protein. The fresh Arrow is a granddaughter of the well-known PR Shauny VG-88, a highlyscoring Modesty in her fourth lactation. One of Shauny's daughters - PR Madelon - was sold during the GenHotel Selection Sale in 2020, and was awarded with EX-90! From the Shauna line of Missy also come bulls such as Seagull-Bay Supersire, Headliner, Sargeant, Shaw and Secretariat. Glennis 2 classified VG-87 with VG-87 mammary system and is therefore one of the highest Arrow daughters of the moment in the Netherlands.
The Rudy Missy cow family continues to supply top index bulls. Currently, her descendants Danhof-Hh Metcalf (3125 gTPI/161 gRZG), Denovo 18322 Revival (3029 gTPI/156 gRZG), Progenesis Shimmer (2968 gTPI) and Denovo 19321 Hutchins RDC (2931 gTPI/151 gRZG) are used as sire of sons.
