Apina Holsteins fokt #1 GPLI stier
She already managed to bred the #1 bull in the Netherlands and now she has also bred the #1 bull in the UK. We are talking about Apina Nadja VG-87, the Ramos daughter of Bersaglio O Man Qualsiasi VG-87 and owned by Apina Holsteins. Her Numero Uno son, Apina Norman, is the #1 genomic bull in the UK with +635 GPLI.
Apina Nadja proves herewith again her capabilities as a brood cow. Her Sunset son, Apina Hurricane, was in December 2013 the #1 GNVI bull in the Netherlands and has many half brothers (and sisters) with very high genomic breeding values in the Netherlands and Germany. Hurricane is still one of the highest young bulls in the Netherlands with +325 GNVI.

Farnear Freedom of Adeen
The #3 bull in the UK is Farnear Alfalfa (+614 GPLI). He is a Supersire son of Farnear Freedom Adeen VG-85. Freedom Adeen is a Freddie daughter of Farnear Shot of Adeen VG-87, a tremendous Shottle daughter that traces back MS-Delight Durham Atlee EX-92 (Durham x VG-88 Storm x MS Kingstead Chief Adeen EX-94), the dam of Atwood.

K&L had contracted the dam of Alfalfa, Farnear Freedom Adeen, very early in her carrier and thus several GenHotel members have daughters of Adeen in their herd. At Dukefarm there is Dukefarm Freeway of Adeen (+2287 GTPI / +150 GRZG), an Epic daughter of Freedom Adeen. Her full sister, Dukefarm Freestar of Adeen (+2270 GTPI / +274 GNVI), is sold through the K&L Selection Sale to Stuurman Holsteins (Pelleboer family).
AJDH Adeen (+2316 GTPI / +147 GRZG) is owned by Drouner/AJDH Holsteins. She is a Cameron daughter of Freedom Adeen. At Netherside (Yuill family) in the UK their is another half sister by Balisto waiting for her genomic results.
