Last Saturday, the FVZH Winteshow took place in Noordeloos-NL, where Batouwe (Junior) Holsteins participated with their animals and achieved impressive results in a highly competitive environment. One of the standout contestants was Batouwe Belladonna EX-92, sired by Jordy, which was among the favorites of the day, and ultimately reaching the finals.
Both Gert and Rens Bakker from Batouwe Junior Holsteins competed in the Showmanship category. They both delivered strong performances, making it to the finals. In the end, Gert won the reserve title for participants under 17 years old, while his brother Rens secured the reserve championship for older participants shortly afterward.

For the red Batouwe Belladonna EX-92, there was work to be done among the huge Holstein competitors. The third calf Jordy daughter had already proven her top show condition at the Holland Holstein Show in November 2024. In her category, which featured senior cows, Belladonna secured second place. Ultimately, she impressed the judges and was awarded Honorable Mention. In this category, she finished behind the fifth calf, De Witboom Greet 101, who was named Reserve Champion, and the fourth calf, Bons-Holsteins Koba 245, who went on to become the Grand Champion of the day.
