The Ebony family brings the no. 2 NVI R&W female to light!

The Zandenburg Ebony/Rocky-Vu Rotate Extasy Ebony cow family, built-up by the Sommers family of Zandenburg Holsteins, has been a prominent name in the European Holstein industry for many years. Recently, they welcomed a new NVI topper into their herd with the birth of a Ebony descendant sired by Firestone Red.

The Zandenburg Ebony/Rocky-Vu Rotate Extasy Ebony family not only transmits qualities, but also demonstrates impressive traits quantity based. Currently, their dairy herd consists a remarkable 60% of Ebony bloodline. Over the years, this cow family has produced numerous standout females with high conformation and/or indexes.

This makes her the second-highest gNVI red female at the moment. What makes her extra special is that she has gotten the polled gene from her dam, Zandenburg Donald Ebony P Red. The young Firestone Red daughter also shows hcomponents, an INET of 412, +914 days Longevity (LVD), and 110 udders. Additionally, Ebony P Red also carries P Red A2A2 and BB. Her dam, Donald Ebony P Red, is sired by the American bull Aprilday McDonald P-Red and backed by a VG-87 Rubels-Red dam and VG-88 Concept granddam. This branch traces back to the well-known Zandenburg Snowman Ebony 1 EX-90. This is a line known for easy producing lots of milk, with many first records of more than 10,000 kgsM.
