The purchase of Maybelline Tual in 2016 opened up exciting possibilities for De Oosterhof and GenHotel, as she was one of the most genetically fascinating heifers in Europe at that time. This family possesses remarkable genetics! The genes of the French Rubicon daughter are still significantly represented, leading to impressive results, particularly through Tual's top breeding daughter, K&L OH Mabel.
This week, the latest generation was showcased, featuring the Koepon Simply-Red daughter, 3STAR OH Minny RDC. This fourth-generation descendant of Mabel records an impressive 152 gRZG based on the new Single Step RZG index. Earlier this week, she also achieved an outstanding score of 444 gNVI, making her the number three gNVI female currently! Additionally, with a recent gTPI result of 3024 gTPI, she boasts an excellent genomic profile with tremendous potential.
Her dam, 3STAR OH Mientje RDC (Rammstein Red x AltaZazzle), is among the best-performing daughters of 3STAR OH Mazzali in terms of red-factor gTPI and gRZG. This success opened up opportunities for embryo production and the breeding of more successful descendants from this line. As a result, a son by 3STAR OH Shield RC was sold to RUW, and establishing a new and strong female Mabel line with the arrival of Minny RDC!
