New Moore Holsteins shows off new pictures of herd favourites!
The excellent New Moore Solomon Trui
The current barn favorites from the Withaar-Prent family of dairy farm New Moore Holsteins, belong to different well-known cow families. Three of them where recently photographed after achieving successful classification results this spring.
At the end of April, New Moore Solomon Trui, the fourth lactation Walnutlawn Solomon daughter from the home bred New Moore 'Trui' family, received an excellent score of EX-90 with EX-92 MS. The family bred two female offspring from the beautiful, long-bodied Trui EX-90 - a second calver Crushabull, and a fresh 2-yr-old from a natural service bull Noorder Ar-Type Cornelis (Atwood x Hellender Champion Cortina).
The direct daughter of the famous Carf Emeraude EX-91 - Dutch Cow of the Year 2022 - has received her first classification score. Her first calver, Delta-Lambda daughter, New Moore Eyes On Me, was good for VG-85 and classified VG-87 for her mammary. She comes from a successful show family and belongs to the long list of direct Emeraude offspring including JK Eder DG Esmeralda EX-92, Riverdane Doorman Elke EX-93, and JK Eder Emeraude 2 VG-88 - who is the granddam of JK Eder DG Eliza VG-89.
New Moore Eyes On Me VG-85
The young farmer Thomas Prent invested, besides Carf Emaraude's successful European cow family in embryo's from Brabantdale Alleyoop x Nipponia R D Lizabeth EX-96. The embryos led to the birth of New Moore Tp Lizzy. Lizzy calved from a Crown-Red heifer calf in February and was in just 3 weeks fresh classified with VG-85. Lizzy comes from three generations of EX in a row. Her dam, Lizabeth, has won numerous major titles, including Grand Champion Northhumerland 2012 & 2014 and Grand On County 2012 & 2014. Great-granddam Lilly is also a well-known show cow within the Holstein world. Acme Star Lilly EX-94 has been a three-time Grand Champion at the Royal Winter Fair and won the Grand Champion title at WDE in 1998. One of Lizzy's well-known maternal-sisters in North America may be Kingsway Goldwyn Elsie EX-90.
