Ladys-Manor Smoke Owen, sire of De Oosterhof 3STAR Lorana
In October, several females from GenHotel members received American genomic results. The following heifers are listed in the top 50 gTPI females in Europe this month:
► The highest ranked daughter of Ladys-Manor Smoke Owen in Europe is now called De Oosterhof 3STAR Lorana. She scores 3206 gTPI with 1061 NM and comes from the Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95 family, which has produced several top proven bulls, including Topstone and Ranger-Red.
► Koepon Sundance Classy 539 is one of the highest daughters of S-S-I Earlybird Sundance (Earlybird x Try Me) in Europe this month with 3166 gTPI, partly due to very favorable health traits. Her dam, Koepon Matteo Classy 502, is due to calving and all 3 of her daughters sofar score above 3000 gTPI.
► At Wilder Holsteins in Vreden (Germany), Pen-Col RUW Wilder Amageto (Enclave x Frost Bite) scores 3155 gTPI and 1106 NM, due to high levels and positive health scores. Amageto was imported from America as an embryo and comes from the renown Pen-Col Grafetti Bell VG-87 family.
► 3STAR RM Marthe scores high on both American and German bases: 3153 gTPI & 160 gRZG. The Real Syn out of 3STAR RM Martine (by Peak AltaAlanzo) shows high components, combined with a solid genomic profile. For TPI, she is therefore now the highest of all female tested Real Syn daughters in Europe. Her maternal sister 3STAR RM Marjo (by Owen) also scores high for TPI and also for NVI: 3131 gTPI and 396 gNVI. This also puts her in the top 50 gTPI in October.
► The 2 full sisters 3STAR OH Mydance RDC and 3STAR OH Macey RDC, daughters of the aforementioned sire Sundance, both score more than 3100 gTPI and also 1164 and 1180 NM$ respectively. Their dam 3STAR OH Magnio RDC has 10 brothers in AI, including the full brothers 3STAR OH Megarun RDC & McRanger RDC.
► In the Holtkamp family, Wilder Claudia (Real Syn x Gameday) also scores 3124 gTPI, due to a combination of high production and favourable health traits. She is the current number 2 gTPI Real Syn and goes back, via Tirsvad Luke Classic VG-88, to the American breeding cow Vir-Clar DE Classy VG-88, from which Classy 539 also descends.
► The highest red-and-white of all females tested in Europe in October is (as far as known) Koepon Redlea Range 381 Red, a daughter of STGen Redlea RDC with 2946 gTPI and 1013 NM, of course from the well-known Red Range-Red VG-86 family.
