Full sisters take top spots in the R&W gNVI rankings!
Granddam 3STAR Sally Red VG-86
In an impressive showing, two full sisters have claimed the second and third positions on the Red gNVI genomics list. These interim results feature 3STAR Olde Shari Red (468 gNVI) and 3STAR Olde Shine Red (460 gNVI), both owned by John van Oldeniel and GenHotel.
Their sire is the Otezla son Koepon Simply Red, who holds the distinction of being the no. 1 R&W gPLI as well as the no. 2 R&W gRZG. Their dam, 3STAR Shirley Red, is a Rammstein Red daughter with remarkable scores in both RZG and NVI, especially with outstanding indexes for conformation.
These sisters trace their lineage back to the Tidy-Brook Elton Steph cow family, which is known for producing notable bulls such as Etazon Adison, Pen-Col-S Starburst, Sir Henry, Sonar, and HaS Garido.
Shari Red tops in second position with 468 gNVI and shows a good amount of milk, 114 CGT, 110 fertility, a sky-high longevity and a wonderful score of 112 for Udder. In Germany, this Simply-Red daughter tests 147 gRZG with highly desirable healthtraits, 122 EUT and 126 gRZE.
Sister Shine Red brings 460 gNVI and 151 gRZG. This not only makes her the number 3 R&W gNVI, but also the number 3 of all red & white Simply-Red daughters in Germany! Particularly striking is Shine's extremely high will for production with +4430 kgM! She transmits 690 INET, 1474 LVD and 105 fertility.
