Seven times VG-89 at JU Holsteins

At the biannual classification at JU Holsteins, 29 Red- and Holstein cows were (re)classified from first to fifth lactation cows, in an incredible range of VG-85 to VG-89! Just one VG-89 scored cow is already excellent, but at Uenk's dairy farm a remarkable number of seven cows received this fantastically high classification score!
With VG-88 points, the highest score at the 2-yr-olds went to no less than three milking heifers from different cow families. JU Etienne 9, a daughter of an O Kalif x Marie Suze 1 EX-91, was rated VG-88 with VG-88 MS. This heifer hails from the German WIT Etienne VG-88, at the time one of the most influential cows and well-known Sublime Tulip-Red daughter from Wiethege in Germany. Her family provided more outstanding cows such as the contracted Red Hot O-Man Elena RDC VG-85 (by O-Man) and the big-bodied EX-90 Poost Stadel Classic daughter at Uenk: JU Etienne 2 - R&W Res. Senior Champion at Fokveedag Apeldoorn 2017.

JU Lonia 314 is a daughter of the American proven sire Kenmore Triple Crown-Red. With a score of VG-88 with MAX VG-89 F&L, she is the 10th Crown-Red daughter in the Netherlands with this amazing score. Via a VG-85 Destry RDC she descends from JU Lonia 103 EX-90 (by Kian), the NRM 2010 participant. The Lonia family also brought two VG-89 points scored cows, including JU Lonia 285 by Gen-I-Beq Attico Red. With this score, Lonia 285 follows the footsteps of her dam. She is a second lactation cow of one of Uenk's most famous cows: JU Lonia 167 Red EX-92! The second Lonia with VG-89 is Jotani daughter JU Lonia 289.

From the Coba's, JU S Coba 10 was shown to the classifier. The third calver Manpower is classified VG-89 with EX-92 DS now. With this she follows the footsteps of her EX-90 Jotan dam, JU S Coba 8, which is still present in Uenk's herd and currently doing well in her 5th list. In those 5 lactations her actual lifetime production is to 54,697 kgsM with 4.46% fat and 3.58% protein.
Also JU Dora 609 received VG-88 with MAX VG-89 Frame. This Jotani daughter comes from the deep cow family of the Dutch Tienmorgen Dora's, which also includes Tienmorgen Dora 484 EX-91 (by Stadel). From the same line also belong two of the seven cows with a score of VG-89. Namely the third calver JU Dora 589 (Julandy x VG-88 Twister) and the fourth lactation JU Dora 590, sired by an Aikman out of the JU Lonia's.
Highest scored B&W cow is sired by Delta Rafter P RF. As a 2-yr-old, this Delta Eska was already good for VG-85. Now, four lactations later she scored VG-89 with EX-91 DS! Some of her dams have been used as donors and in six generations she traces back to none other than Massia 13 VG-86 (s. Andries)!
