JU Lonia 232
JU Holsteins was one of the major participants in the Videokeuring Loenen. Breeder Johan Uenk achieved great success in the Intermediate class, with bull dam Lonia 232 clinching the victory. Uenk also received prizes in two other categories.
The championship title was secured by the EX-91 Sodan Red daughter JU Lonia 232, who won this virtual show for the second consecutive year. The snow-white Lonia has a Rubels-Red son in AI and comes from the same branch as sire JU Stefan. In the same category herd member JU Lonia 254 EX-92 (by Lord Red P) received the honorable mention title.
In the category of production cows, with a lifetime production of >80,000 kgsM, the well-known Scientific Destry RDC daughter JU Lonia 167 EX-92 was one of the contenders. Over her 12 years of life, she has achieved several successes at regional and national shows. During this one, she was awarded with the reserve title.
