Midwolder Susan 164 VG-87, (grand)dam of Susan 187 VG-87 and Susan 221 VG-86
At the Van Erp family, Midwolder Holsteins, in The Netherlands recently 28 milking 2-y-olds are classified in average 83.4 points Total Score and 84.0 for udder. The highest score though was for a Red Holstein heifer, namely Midwolder Marjon 147 Red, a nicely framed Riverboy RDC daughter, classified VG-87 and VG-87 for her well attached mammary.
Marjon family
The Midwolder Marjon family has expanded rapidly in the Van Erp herd. Two milking heifers from this family, Marjon 143 (s. Battlecry) and Marjon 152 (s. Silver) are both scored VG-86. Marjon 73, a 4th lactation Snowfever daughter is reclassified VG-89 and VG-89 MS, while Seagull-Bay Silver daughter Marjon 130 is scored in her 2nd lactation already VG-88, VG-89 MS.
The Susan's
Also the homebred Midwolder Susan family is amply present for years. Susan 221, a tremendous producing S-S-I Montross Jedi daughter with 3 recordings over 50 kgs/day (last MPR 56.3 kg/day!), is scored with VG-86 (VG-85 MS). The same score is for Susan 223 RDC (s. Riverboy RDC). The 3 times calved Susan 187 (s. Balisto), the dam of Susan 221, is scored again, now with VG-87, and peaks this lactation over the 60 kgs milk per day.
GenHotel EmbryoProgramma heifers
At Midwolder there are also several milking heifers from the GenHotel EmbryoProgramma. K&L Deloris, a Jetset daughter from the Southland Dellia family, produces ± 50 kg/day and is first time scored with VG-85 (VG-85 MS). Proventus daughter K&L Flo has this round the highest score for udder (VG-88), VG-85 total score and is descending from the Windy-Knoll-View Promis EX-95 family. Also her maternal sister K&L Francis (s. Burano) is scored VG-85 (VG-86 MS) and produces easily 40 kgs/day too.
