A group of thirteen 2-yr-olds was classified with an impressive average score of VG-85 at Hedra Holsteins. The highest score was achieved by a descendant of the RUW Neblina cow family, which had also won a championship title just a few days prior.
Hedra Neblina 1587 scored VG-88 with max. VG-89 SA. She is a first lactation Delta Powerlift RF daughter, and like many Neblina offspring at the Vernooij family farm, she traces back to Delta Nayat VG-87, the direct Atlantic daughter of the multiple bull dam Tirsvad Bookem Nessie VG-89! Just a few days prior to the classification day, she was crowned Grand Champion of the Jongveekeuring Kromme Rijnstreek.

Hedra Holsteins is currently milking a first-calver granddaughter of the successful Dutch brood cow Caudumer Lol 422 PP Red VG-85, named Hedra Lol 1575 RDC by Bush-Bros Fragrant. She was good for VG-86. Lol 422 PP Red is known for her popular sons Delta Launch PP-Red and Delta Cartoon P-Red, who have been used as sire of sons throughout Europe. One of her sons bred Caro 1572 RDC, which is probably one of the first daughters of Launch PP Red classified and scored VG-86.

Out of the bull family of Delta Header P RF, Sunfit P Surrender PP, and Artemis PP RF, Hedra Sjoerdtje 1547 P Red by Freestyle Red scored VG-8 with VG-88 DS. Her maternal line knows how to pass on the polled and red factor genetics, despite the sire track VG-86 Freestyle-Red x E-Profit x VG-86 Handy P RDC x VG-86 Atlantic, this pedigree has been polled for five generations in a row. Maternal-sister of Sjoerdtje 1547 P Red's dam, Hedra Sjoerdtje 1537 VG-87, is a Hotline daughter that has been in production since December 2023. This mature first calver competed in the finals of the show against the eventual champion Neblina 1578, after having won her class. With this, she was named Reserve 2-yr-old Championship 2024.
Delta Telstar G VG-86, granddam
The Vernooij family presented multiple heifers and cows at the competition besides Champion Neblina and the above mentioned Reserve Champion. The almost two-year-old Hedra Jeltje 1632 P RDC s. Delta Taskforce P-Red was named Heifer Champion. She is pregnant and expected to calve for the first time at the end of November. Also, the 13-month-old Delta Warren P RF daughter Hedra Remarlinda 1717 P RDC made it to the final. In October of 2023, she ranked in the top 10 Holstein gNVI. The highlight of the event for this family was winning the competion of best Herd Group.
