Great round of scores at Oosterbrook Holsteins

During the classification of fifteen 2-yr-olds at Oosterbrook Holsteins, multiple VG-scores were given, with the highest score being awarded to Genua offspring Oosterbrook Xander Genua 51.

The Delta Xander daughter, Genua 51, achieved a score of VG-86, with a maximum of VG-89 for her mamamry. Her dam, Koepon Lendor Genoa 47, was purchased at the Koepon Summer Sale of 2019 and has produced several successful lactations at the Heijink family farm. Genua 51 is one of the five female offspring on this dairy farm and was able to produce 42kgM/day at her peak.

Oosterbrook Jawline Odeline P Red (Jawline PP Red x Norbert Red) comes from the Dutch Pietje family, which is known for producing the former number 1 Red proven sire Delta Booking-Red in the Netherlands. Despite being in production for almost 9 months, she was given a score of VG-86. Poppe Ferro daughter, Oosterbrook Ferro Roberta Red, was classified as well and received a score of VG-85 with VG-87 for mammary system.

Oosterbrook Holsteins's herd got also another VG-85 score for Oosterbrook Mrs Endless Silk (Delta Endless RDC). Through her VG-87 dam, Chief Silk, she is descended from the renowned brood cow Silk RDC EX-90 in just three generations!


4th dam: Des-Y-Gen Planet Silk RDC EX-90 (s. Planet) 

Wilder Holiday Season is one of the latest additions to this dairy farm. She is a great-granddaughter of the well-known bull dam Wilder Hira VG-85, and her sire is the American bull Peak AltaMagnifique. Despite achieving a daily production of almost 45kgM, Holiday Season scored VG-85! After buying her, Heijink bred three female offspring, with Oosterbrook Pazzle Barcelona having the highest test result at 2989 gTPI!
