Willem's-Hoeve Baily 2441 VG-87
Last weekend, Roubos Holsteins and Willem's-Hoeve Holsteins participated in the Fokveedag Putten, where both GenHotel members won prizes and hit their goals in the Grand Championship.
Willem's-Hoeve Holsteins participated in a special competition for students, where agricultural student Ine Wijna presented the second calver Willem's-Hoeve Baily 2441 VG-87, a Willem's-Hoeve Optum Red daughter out of Willem's-Hoeve Baily 1983 VG-86. Baily 2441 eventually won the Grand Championship of the student competition with this 100% Willem's-Hoeve breeding product. Optum-Red (Attico-Red x Fever) is a homebred bull, used for natural service and comes out of the well-known Rita family. The Baily's at the Willem's Hoeve trace back to Regancrest-RH Durham Bliss VG-89, the full sister of none other than Regancrest-PR Durham Barbie EX-92.

Arjan Roubos (Roubos Holsteins) presented six animals, out of which four managed to reach the finals. The young Rh Doorman Frosty, a Val-Bisson Doorman great-granddaughter of the legendary Harvue Roy Frosty EX-97, won her class and set the bar high for her other competing herd mates.

RH Unstopabull Tantrum Red (by Unstopabull-Red), the direct Strans-Jen-D Tequila-Red EX-96 daughter, won the champion of the maiden heifers and adds another title to her list, after she had won her first title last summer. After her great performance last weekend, Tantrum Red has also been flushed this week. The produced embryos are sired by sexed Hellender Brandy P Red. R&B AltaTop Ailene Red VG-87 is a fine young cow which finished second in a strong class. She comes from a well-known show and index cow family. Her pedigree follows by Alaska Red, VG-85 Salsa RDC, VG-87 Supersire, VG-85 Alexander, and than KHW Goldwyn Aiko RDC EX-91, the Red Impact Cow of the Year and a direct daughter of the huge brood cow Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude RDC EX-95.

Roubos is also owner of R&B AM Maryam Red VG-88, who is backed by RH Maibrit EX-92, the cow family of the German show cow RH Talent Maxima Red EX-94. Maryam Red is a Kcck Amaretto Red daughter which calved for the second time in December and has developed fantastically. Her dam is ViG My Love Red VG-87, who is jointly owned by Batouwe Holsteins. Maryam Red had the best udder of her class, won the Intermediate R&W title & Best Udder and hit the jackpot by winning the Reserve Grand Championship!
