Batouwe Holstein celebrates double 'Red' victory.

The title "Best Red" at the Jongvee Hoornaar this year was awarded to the Bakker family of Batouwe Holsteins! The winning cow was Batouwe Rednex Maxyme, a 2-year-old that calved from an R-Val-Re Rager-Red daughter last January.

Maxyme has a great, firmly attached udder supported by a good well-formed rump with sufficient pin width. The 2.5-year-old Rednex daughter comes from a VG-87 scored Mr. Blondin Warrior-Red, out of VOST Select Sale 6 purchase ViG My Love Red VG-87. The combination Batouwe & Roubos Holsteins bought My Love Red s. Redneck-Red when she was a young heifer calf. They hail from a pedigree with no less than 9 generations of excellent which goes back to RH Meggilee EX-91 (by Lee). This Lee daughter is also the dam of the European show diva RH Talent Maxima EX-94!

Batouwe Rednex Maxyme


Granddam: ViG My Love Red VG-87

Her rival in the ring was herdmate Batouwe Solito Cita Red, a daughter of the German top conformation sire Solito Red, who calved in April. The 2-yr-old manageds to produce over 38 kgM with excellent components, demonstrating her ability to produce high-quality milk that does justice to her high producing family. Cita Red's lineage can be traced back to Felder Den Barb Cindy EX-91. Her granddam is the excellent Payball Red daughter Share DG Agnieska-Red. In the finals, this Solito daughter from the Bakker family was awarded as Reserve Champion.
