Visstein K&L Money P, the no. 1 progeny-proven RZG sire!
It was a special proof run for the breeders of Visstein K&L Money P Red, Visstein, and GenHotel. The Tirsvad Match P RDC son made his debut in August 2020 on the red German genomics list, ranking at 4th place with 160 gRZG. This made him the number one polled red genomics young sire. Now, 3.5 years and more than 200 milking daughters later, Money P Red proves himself again as a debuting number one daughterproven sire with impressive qualities.
The expectations from Money P Red's home base RUW were high, already before his first daughter based index became available in April. A group of his first milking daughters met these expectations last week during the RUW regional+ Schau in Krefeld. The excellent quality of the feet & legs, the well-attached and structured udders with optimal teat length, and the late matureness are underlining the qualities of Money P Red. The proof of this bull displays 120 RZRobot, 115 RZPersistenz, impressive indexes for 116 RZR, 130 RZÖko, 120 FUN, and 123 EUT. The polled Match P son out of the well-known brood cow and conformation-strong Visstein K&L SV Aderina Red VG-89 was also successfully used as a sire of bulls. One of his most popular sons at the moment, Schuit 3STAR Marcel P Red, is highly rated due to his high indexes, ranking at #11 gNVI RB, #15 gRZG RB, #1 gICO Polled R&W.
Money P Red's conformation qualities hail from a pedigree filled with no less than 11 generations of VG/EX in a row. Extra special is the story behind this sire. Great-granddam Willsbro K&L Supersire Aderyn VG-85 was imported as an embryo (Supersire x KHW Superstition Aderyn RDC EX-90) by GenHotel, after the team was hugely impressed by the Superstition granddaughter of Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude RDC EX-95. After the arrival of this cow family in Europe, it has put its feet firmly ashore and managed to further increase its influence within the Holstein population, partly due to the arrival of this great sire!
