Top genomics lists of april 2025
The index run of April 2025 has brought success for GenHotel member Erik Manders Manders Klassic 7090 P. Her journey began with the purchase of Parfect daughter, 3STAR OH Leina, who is a great-granddaughter of the esteemed brood cow DG OH Donna RDC VG-89, the dam of proven top sire DG OH Topstone. Leina was offered during the Highlight Sale of 2023 by De Oosterhof and GenHotel, showcasing impressive genetic potential, particularly on an American basis. A flush with the polled Bomaz Perfect-P son, Winstar Klassic-P, resulted in the early arrival of Manders Klassic 7090 P (born December 2024). Her initial genomic gTPI score of 3221 gTPI, with 0.37% fat and positive daughter fertility, secured her the 37th position in this month’s listing.
Since June 2024, Leina has been producing well, achieving a 305-day production total of 11,156 kg milk with 4.87% butterfat and 3.69% protein! Several embryo combinations are currently available from the direct family of this heifer calf. Check out the available offerings here!
This month, the number one spot in the rankings is held by a heifer calf from Spain, sired by the exceptional bull Captain. This calf recorded a gTPI of 3351 and is also recognized for having the highest Longevity score this month, with 1046 NM$.
3STAR OH Lima (Sheepster x VG-86 Altawheelhouse), a direct relative of the aforementioned Klassic daughter, remains in the top 100 gTPI in Europe, achieving a score of 3367 gTPI despite a base change in gTPI. Now over a year old, Lima has already produced numerous embryos and is flushing still.
