A progenygroup of Poppe Snow RF was presented at the HHH-Show this weekend. The daughters of this Snowman son showed a lot of dairyness, very good udders and feet & legs with a very good bone-quality. The 2-yr olds in this group where on average projected at 11.600 kg of milk with 3.9% fat and 3.3% protein. They are producing 21% above herd average. This is not a big surprise as Poppe Snow RF has an index with almost +2000 kg of milk in the Netherlands (R&W basis).
Poppe Holsteins
Poppe Snow RF is breed by Poppe Holsteins and his dam is Poppe Pietje 519. This Spencer daughter turned out to be a great cow for Poppe Holsteins and goes back at the well-known Tulip daughter Huyben Pietje 514, and the dam to Tequila and Red Tumult. Pietje 519 is the broodcow of an impressive family at Poppe Holsteins with very high testing offspring. Poppe Pietje 1035 Red for example, is the former #1 GNVI for R&W and still scores +300 GNVI (#8 GNVI). And Poppe Pietje 1041 Red, a +290 GNVI Bolt RF daughter out of a full sister to Snow RF.
