KNS Simon P: number 1 Pp B&W sire in Germany
The German dairy farm KNS Holsteins of the Niermann family managed to reach the top in the April index with no less than eight bulls! Niermann bred strong cow families that have proven to supply fantastic breeding material. One of the most successful cow families is the popular 'R-line' with as matriarch Radieuse EX-91. KNS Rendezvous VG-85 and sire KNS Boss are members of this family too. Another popular cow family that has brought many polled (young) sires to the market is SHB Mrs. Poll-P RDC. She's the dam of Laptop PP.
It isn't just the R&W sire Laptop PP (s. Laron P) which makes the cowfamily wanted and successful. Right now there are five polled sires from this family in the top rankings. On top of the heterozygous B&W polled list is KNS Simon P. A 160 gRZG Semino son from the VG-85 Board daughter KNS Miss Board P. Second best is his paternal brother KNS Bachelor P. He is a Batch P with also 160 gRZG. The number three on this list remains far behind with 156 gRZG.
Even when it comes to homozygous polled B&W, KNS Holsteins manage to breed top RZG animals: No. 1 KNS Hesekiel PP (154 gRZG), No. 4 KNS Hogwart PP (149 gRZG) and no. 5 KNS Haggai PP (149 gRZG). They are full brothers from the perfect mating Hotspot P x KNS Miss Board P x Balisto.
Returning to the descendants from Radieuse EX-91. Many successes are also emerging from this line. The number 1 KNS Baldur with 149 RZG (Balisto x Epic) and the number 2 KNS Belsan with 148 RZG (Balisto x Shamrock) of high reliable sires are from this family.
In Italy the full brother of KNS Baldur, KNS Brasileiro is the number 2 based on PFT. He scores no less than 3781 PFT.
