Top red & white RZG Interbull ranking loaded with Dutch bulls!
3STAR OH Ranger Red (Rubels Red) the new no.1 RZG Interbull proven!
Germany was one of the first countries to launch the August 2024. Especially in the Red Holstein lists, new names emerged, with the first victory for 3STAR OH Ranger Red based on his first interbull proven index. In addition to this former no. 1 R&W genomics bull, there are several bulls of Dutch origin in this top as well! It's up to GenHotel to bring you an overview of the August RZG proof highlights in this news item.
Genomic bulls
With 166 gRZG, 154 RZM, 129 gRZE and 2761 gRZ€, Real Syn (Rover x Adaway) is once again in first place and has been the unchanged leader in this list for a year now. Shortly behind, with only three points difference, we find the debuting Alaska. An Arizona son owned by VOST with 163 gRZG, 133 gRZE and 127 RZN. This puts Alaska ahead of his also debuting paternal-brother Argentum (Arizona x Vitality) with 161 gRZG. The newcomer Campbell is the highest and also one of the first Comeback sons in Germany. He tests 160 gRZG with 2456 gRZ€ and with +2085kgM he is one of the highest proven sires of this list. With an unchanged index of 160 gRZG, the bull Rome is in 5th position, which means that he has to give up his 2nd place of April to newcomer Alaska.
The highest red factor bull remains, despite having dropped four points in his total index, Sweet RDC (153 gRZG). With 156 gRZG, 2357 gRZ€, +0.31%v & +0.29%e and 145 gRZM, Smartie P (Sega P RDC x Arrozo) is the highest polled genomics bull (18th place) and knocks Rainow son Rayban P (151 gRZG, 81st place) off his throne.
Among the R&W genomics bulls, a new frontrunner presents himself, namely Malaga Red (by Red Rocks Mask Red). This number 1 with 158 gRZG, 157 gRZM and 129 gRZE goes back to Wilder Meta VG-86 and is owned by Göpel Genetik. With only 1 point difference, the number 1 of April, Skill Red (Skyliner x Money P Red), has to give up his place and went to the 2nd place. Also the number 3 of April, the Ranger-Red son GlH Redford Red by GlH Holsteins, drops a bit and is now testing 154 gRZG compared to a score of 158 gRZG back in April. In his place we find Redwood (Refine-Red x Goliat RDC) with 157 gRZG, 2498 gRZ€, 126 gRZN, and 126 gRZGes. In position 4, Mask-Red son Mellum Red has established himself with 156 gRZG. This red bull is a grandson of K&L MN Flora Red GP-84 (by Manana Red) and goes back to Hanoverhill Tony Rae EX-96. Placed in 5th place is the highest polled bull in Germany, namely Handout P. This HWH 3STAR Hugo PP RDC son with 156 gRZG and flawless conformation carries the crown for the no. 1 R&W polled sire of Germany after this proof run. Close behind, with also 156 gRZG, we find newcomer Dressman P Red (Dragon P x Star P RDC). Positioned in 8th place in the ranking, we find the highest Tirsvad 3STAR Member PP Red son, namely Meeting P with 155 gRZG, 127 gRZGes and +0.25%fat.
Cop PP Red is still the highest homozygous polled R&W bull in Germany. The Cartoon P Red son can be found in 11th place in the top list with 153 gRZG.

Proven
This run a new number 1 proven sire presents himself in Germany, namely Danhof Suez with 147 RZG. This bull stationed at OHG is a Subzero son with 102 milking daughters in his index and excels for his health traits, milking speed, good persistency, +0.64% fat and +0.34% protein. Right behind him with also 147 RZG in 2nd place is Prosecco (Prosperous x Bandares), who, just like the number 1 bull, is promoted to a progeny proven bull in August. The bull KAX Gladius had a good index run and not only managed to increase his total index by 2 points, but also managed to rise from place 8 to 3 with 147 RZG. There are now more than 1300 German daughters in milk, which is more than four times as many as are included in his April index.
The highest progeny proven red factor bull remains Gepard RDC, a Gywer RDC x Gatedancer with 147 RZG. A steady run led to both a rise in his index and a high ranking in the top list. OH Dg Topstone (145 RZG), born at De Oosterhof, is in 6th position. The number of Topstone's milking daughters in Germany continues to rise and is now >7300, 1800 more than in April. After a long time, KNS Simon P (140 RZG, place 32) was knocked off his throne as the highest polled proven bull. He makes way for Brandung P with 143 RZG. This Bali P-son makes his debut as a proven sire.
For the proven Red Holstein bulls, the proud moment has arrived for Sanderij Ginger Red. As a high genomics sire, he can now demonstrate his breeding value through the performances of his first 120 lactating daughters. With 150 RZG, this Gywer RDC son is the new number 1 daughter proven. Ginger Red, sold and delivered to RUW by GenHotel, is impressive, and we hope to see more of his daughters soon. Additionally, there are 6 sons of Gywer RDC in the top 15! In 2nd place, we have a well-known name as well: Sudena Safari Red with 145 RZG. This bull carries on the bloodline of the Prudence EX-95 family across Europe as a Spark Red son of De Oosterhof Dg Rose RDC VG-89. In third place is the former number 1 from April 2024, Visstein K&L Money P Red. The Tirsvad Match P son has a score based on more than 820 lactating daughters.
