Success for Huntje & Holbra at show Bathmen-Laren
Geertje 409
Succes for GenHotel members Huntje Holstein en Holbra Holsteins at a local show in Laren, in the east of the Netherlands. The well-known Geertje 409, owned by Huntje Holstein and de Veneklaas Slots family, claimed another title. She was named intermediate champion and she also had the best mammary system of the cows in the intermediate classes.

Holbra Holsteins
Holbra Holsteins won both R&W senior titles. Savard daughter Holbra Ella 1 was named champion with Curtis daughter Holbra Sien 1 following her as reserve. Sien 1 did have the best mammary system of the senior cows. The herdgroup of Holbra Holsteins, including Ella 1, Twica 1 (Tumult) and Sien 1, was named champion as well.
Salient detail; the pedigree of all three these cows goes back at Holbra Pietje 515, a VG-86 Beautiful daughter of Huyben Pietje 514 VG-87 (Tulip).
