Rens Bakker Champion at FVZH Winter Show!
Rens Bakker, Senior Champion Showmanship
During the FVZH Winter show held last weekend in Noordeloos, GenHotel member Batouwe Holsteins, the Bakker family in the Netherlands, was present with several heifers in the showring.
Gert Bakker (Batouwe Junior Holsteins) was present with his first own milking heifer, BJH Moovin EMMA Red. The Lindenright Moovin RDC daughter was the youngest milking animal on the show and the latest calved heifer, in the very strong 1st class, which later included both the champion and reserve champion heifer. Emma was still lacking some capacity and strength, but the jury expects that she will be able to raise her eyes later in lactation at a show.

The other milking heifer of Batouwe Holsteins, Batouwe Rager FABIOLA Red (Ri-Val-Re Rager x Jotani), was placed 5th in the oldest class (of 9 heifers).

The Showmanship Competition was very successful for Rens Bakker: He was the youngest of the in total 10 participants (18 years and older) and was finally the Senior Champion Showmanship.

Also Gert Bakker was in another category for the first time and became, as youngest participant in this class with 11 participants, 5th in the Junior category. Gentlemen congratulations!
