Lis Opal EX-91
Multiple bull dam and Luxembourg's No. 1 production cow for 2019-2020, Lis Opal EX-91, entered the show ring of the Lëtz Holstein Show 2023 last weekend at the age of 8 years old. The fifth lactation Seagull-Bay Silver calved in January 2023 and remained in such good condition for her breeder and owner to compete with her at this show.
The EX-91 scoring Silver daughter of the Luxembourg Lis-Vaessen family comes from the deep cow family of brood cow Clear-Echo Hershl D-Rac 822 VG-87, granddam of the component transmitter and much-used sire of sons De-Su 521 Bookem, and dam of Clear-Echo 822 Ramos 1200 EX-94 (by Ramos), the granddam of the also well-known sire S-S-I Mogul Reflector.
Christian Lis bought Pine-Tree Altaoak embryos from De-Su 1565 VG-86. From this, among others, Lis De-Su Oak 8255 was born, which would later be classified with VG-85 (2-yr-old) and whose sons, Lis Souki and Lis Sirio, were purchased by German AIs. In addition to these bulls, Lis Opal was also born. Her sons also caught the attention of AI stations, such as Granat @VOST and Granito, Senetto and Supervisor @Masterrind. With a 305-days production of 12,640 kgsM with 3.77% fat and 3.27% protein, the Silver daughter from Oak 8255 VG-85 was named the best producing 2-yr-old in Luxembourg in the period 2019-2020!

Last Sunday, another highlight came for Opal EX-91. The high-producing Silver, partly due to her lifetime production of no less than 84,756 kgsM with 4.61% fat and 3.37% protein, was named 'Beste Leistungskuh' of the Lëtz Holstein Show 2023!
