Holbra Petra EX-90, this summer as a 12-year old
The two oldest cows in the herd of Holbra Holsteins, Holbra Petra and Holbra Pam, are both daughters of the great Durham daughter Sunday ALH Prudence VG-88 (Durham x EX-90 Rudolph x Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence EX-95). This family breeds and at this moment almost 60% of the cows (milking) at Holbra Holsteins hails from the Prudence family, either through Petra or Pam.

Holbra Petra
Petra, an EX-90 classified Morty daughter, is over 12-years of age and produced already 103.445 kg of milk with 3.79% fat and 3.43% protein. Her most influence full daughter is with no doubt Holbra O Man Paula VG-87 (O Man). Paula is the dam to Holbra Bolton Paulona VG-85, the dam to the high producing Snowman daughter Holbra Sana VG-87.
At this moment daughters of Sana, sired by Massey, Mayfield, Supersire and Meridian, are real eye-catchers in the Holbra herd. Especially the very nice looking Meridian sisters Holbra Sandian and Holbra Sanadi who are respectively projected at 12.564 kg of milk and 13.694 kg of milk in 305 days. Sandian is the dam to Holbra Sandoya, a +2535 GTPI / +150 GRZG Kingboy, and Sanadi is the dam to Holbra Sancodi, a +158 GRZG / +298 GNVI / +2529 GTPI Commander.

Descendants of Petra produce high volumes of milk, but the offspring of Holbra Pam has higher components. Pam herself is now over 9.5 years of age and she has a lifetime total of 63.030 kg of milk with 4.50% fat and 3.60% protein. She recently calved for the 6th time and is producing over 50 kg of milk. She is accomplished by daughters of Niagra, Bolton, Gerard, Superstition, Bogart and Man O Man in the Holbra herd.
Her most important daughter is Holbra Malon, a VG-86 classified Man O Man daughter. Malon recently started her 4th lactation and has a lifetime total of 35.776 kg of milk with 5.17% fat and 4.09% protein. We can also find these high components in the genomic tests of her Balisto daughters. The highest, Holbra Malon 3, has in the Netherlands +0.37%F and +0.27%P and scores +285 GNVI and has a high +155 GRZG as well. Her full sister Holbra Malon 5, now owned by Veneriete Holsteins, scores +153 GRZG and +271 GNVI and has even higher components with +0.45%F and +0.31%P. A full brother to Malon 3 and Malon 5 is sold to KI Kampen (AI in the Netherlands) and will be tested soon.
