The American September genomics run for females has delivered a new barn topper at Altena Holsteins.
Altena Valentine 18, a Mr Farnear Helix Twitch daughter with a very all-round profile, is the new genomic topper at Altena Holsteins from the Nouws family in Wijk en Aalburg. She is the highest Twitch this month in Europe with 2933 gTPI and now the number 2 gTPI of all Twitch daughters in Europe. Valentine 18 her dam Altena Valentine 7 is an early daughter of Aurora Mitchell (Wet Tatum Mitchell x Bombero), who debuted in 5th place proven bulls in America in August. Granddam Altena Valentine VG-85 (VG-86 udder) is a productive EDG Rubicon, which goes back to MS Kingstead Chief Adeen EX-94.
Also this proof run there is another descendant of K&L OH Mabel in the top 10 gTPI, namely 3STAR OH Missy. Missy, owned by De Oosterhof and 3STAR Genetics, is a Peak AltaPlinko with extremely high components and favorable health scores, resulting in 3013 gTPI and 964 NM. This makes her the number 2 gTPI AltaPlinko daughter in Europe. In addition, she scores 159 gRZG, also good for 2nd place on a German basis of all European AltaPlinko daughters. Missy's dam, K&L OH Mistress, is a pregnant Claynook Discjockey from Mabel.
The third top 50 listing in September (bred by GenHotel members) belongs to Zwanebloem Parfect Shaker, one of the first daughters of Siemers Renegade Parfect. Shaker, bred by the Masscheleyn family, scores 2908 gTPI and 816 NM and is the number 1 Parfect daughter in Europe for both gTPI and NM. The foundation cow behind Shaker is the legendary brood cow Wesswood-HC Rudy Missy EX-92, the family from which proven sires such as Supersire, Mogul, AltaOak, Balisto and Silver descend.
The highest newly genomic tested red & white female in Europe is this time again a Rubels-Red daughter from the LakeSide UPS Red Range VG-86 family, namely Koepon Rubels Range 53 Red with 2786 gTPI (and +2.14 gPTAT). Her dam Koepon Altuve Range 5 Red is one of the highest Peak AltaAltuve RDC daughters in Europe and a half sister of the number 1 gLPI bull 3STAR OH Ranger-Red.
At Schuit Holsteins, Schuit Elise 2 is a nice addition to the conformation segment. Elise 2 is a Blondin Thunder Storm with +3.47 gPTAT and +2.70 UDC, potentially the 10th generation VG or EX in a row and a descendant of the beautiful Braedale Goldwyn daughter Carf Emeraude EX-91.
Willsbro Arrow Adina 2968, an Arrow daughter from the Kamps-Hollow Durham Altitude RDC EX-95 family, scores +3.28 gPTAT & +3.08 UDC. Her 4th dam Willsbro K&L Supersire Adina VG-85 was imported as embryo from America by GenHotel and delivered to the Wills family in England.
