GenHotel members successful at shows

Despite the cold weather in Europe and the Netherlands last week a few local shows went on anyway. Prairie Hoeve Holsteins had a great evening at the FDV Wintershow Drenthe in Pesse last Friday. Their well-known Goldwyn daughter Marie 356 was named reserve senior champion behind Drakker Bulona (s. Lotta Hill) from Mts. Steegink.
Maggie 82
The intermediate championship went to Prairie Hoeve Maggie 82. This Golden Dreams daughter is owned by Mts. Jonkers and breed by Prairie Hoeve Holsteins. Maggie 82 is the honourable mention junior 2-yr old from the NRM 2017. In Pesse she claimed the intermediate title and she also was named udder-champion. The reserve champion in this class was Drouner Mientje 1276, a Jotan daughter owned by Drouner Holsteins.

2-yr olds
Drouner Holsteins had more succes in Pesse. Another member of the Mientje family captured the junior 2-yr old title. Drouner Mientje 1368 (Impression) was named champion and she placed over Golden Dreams daughter Giessen Prescilla 17 of Giessen Holsteins.
Houten
At the Wintershow in Houten (UFF) it was Hedra Holsteins that won two reserve championships. Hedra Lou Etta 598 was named reserve junior 2-yr old champion. Her pedigree goes all the way back to Delta Eugenie VG-88 and her sire is Delta Bookem Danno @ CRV.
A Nelson half-sister to Danno, Delta Riana, was named reserve intermediate champion. Riana is projected at 13.849 kg of milk with 4.30% fat and 3.59% protein and she has several high testing descendants. Her most interesting daughters are Hedra Remarlinda 810, a +358 GNVI Finder, and Hedra Remarlinda 793 RDC, a red carrier Riverboy daughter with +320 GNVI.
JK Eder Delta Alana RDC, the famous Mascol daughter from the Alumette family, was awarded with the CRV longevity-trophy.
