Giessen Struik
A bull that does a great job in the Giessen herd is the homebred bull Giessen Struik. He is a Shottle son of the famous Charity 504 EX-94 that goes back at Brookview Tony Charity EX-97. Daughters of Struik are not only fancy heifers. Just as Charity 504 they also show a great maturity and are very promising cows for the future.
Three Struik daughters are classified VG-88. One of these heifers, Giessen Praline 12, is a daughter of the well-known Mr Burns daughter Giessen Praline 2 EX-91. Two other VG-88 Struik daughters have Charity genes from both sides of their pedigree. Their dam is a Million daughter from a Duplex out of a Stormatic from Charity 504.
