Surprisingly high ranking heifer at Hedra Holsteins!
Hedra Remarlinda 691 VG-87, 3rd dam of Remarlinda 1717 P RDC
At Hedra Holsteins, the Vernooij family in Schalkwijk, the genomic result of Hedra Remarlinda 1717 P RDC was received with great pleasure. With 382 gNVI, the Delta Warren P RF daughter not only reaches the 5th place of all genomic tested females in the Netherlands and Flanders, but also has inherited both the red factor and the polled gene from her sire. This makes her very interesting for both black & white and red & white breeding programs.
Remarlinda 1717 P RDC shows a great production proof in her genomic results: +2137 kg of milk with +0.05% protein, resulting in 80 kg of protein. She combines this with high breeding values for the health traits: 109 fertility, 104 udder health and 649 lifespan days.
Her dam, Hedra Remarlinda 1018 (by Delta Lawrence), calved in July and produced 42 kg of milk per day during her 2nd milk recording. The Remarlindas have produced many breeding bulls, such as Delta Atlantic, Delta Bookem Danno, Delta Saxobeat and Midwolder Goldmar & Midwolder Martin.
