New additions to list with sire of sons
Progenesis Perky 200HO12546, one of the new sires on the list
After the April 2024 index run, the special selected list with sire of sons on the GenHotel website has been updated. Bulls that have been sufficiently used have now made way for a number of impressive, debuting bulls. We would like to introduce some new available bulls:
Newly added are bulls that are particularly interesting because of their gTPI scores. The highest, available bull added is Progenesis Perky. The bull marketed by Semex tests 3225 gTPI and also brings in 153 gRZG, which allows him to be used for different systems. Perky is a Gameday x AltaZazzle hails in generations back to Walkup Astronaut Lou Ann via the Glo-Crest O Man Pirate 4092 EX-90 line.
The April 2024 debuting Progenesis Disruptor (Holysmokes x AltaZazzle) can be found in our list with 3183 gTPI and also tests 839 gPLI in the UK system. The Holysmokes son is in a joint 11th place in the genomic PLI list. Disruptor is offered by Semex.
A bull that has been positioning itself strongly for several index runs in a row now is Ladys-Manor Smoke Owen, which became available for the bigger public in December of 2023. This Holysmokes son owned by Semex comes from a very conformation-strong cow family. His granddam is the EX-90 scored Ladys-Manor Dorcy Oda, also dam of many well-known bulls such as Ladys-Manor Octoberfest and Ladys-Manor Doorsopen. Owen brings +3221 gTPI, 1156 NM$, very high fat and protein and flawless conformation.
Ladys-Manor Smoke Owen
The polled Holstein offer expands further with the bull Wilra Manifest-P, owned by Genus/ABS. In the list of polled gTPI sires with NAAB code, the Winstar Maxwell-P son is in 7th position, thanks to his sky-high 3121 gTPI. He also transmits +6.3 PL, 1143 NM$ and 0.41% fat.
S-S-I Overdo Mcclune, one of the highest Ladys-Manor Overdo sons, tests 3203 gTPI. In addition, he passes on good udder health, average height and plenty of milk with good components to his daughters. Mcclune is available at Select Sires.
