New year, new sire of sons
Progenesis Bennie, interesting new mating sire!
After the December 2020 proof run GenHotel has updated the sires of sons list. A few young sires, which have been sufficiently used, have been replaced by a number of impressive debuting high genomic young sires. With this list we start 2021 with a great selection of mating sires!
One of the newcomers on the list is Bali son Balingo, who comes from the Coyne-Farms Bestow Jell EX-90 family. This cow family has become known by renown proven sires as Conye-Farms Jabir and Jetset. Balingo scores especially high on the German basis with 163 gRZG. He combines high production (151 gRZM) and great fertility traits. Not to be missed is also his 303 NVI, which makes him very attractive for the Netherlands and Flanders.
Progenesis Bennie is a very interesting newcomer with 165 gRZG, 2781 gTPI and 3401 gLPI. Bennie (Timberlake x AltaRobson) is also a A2A2 carrier and is supported by his highly productive granddam Progenesis Denver Betsy VG-88/EX-90 MS, which achieved a stunning 305-day production of 17,647 kgs of milk with 4.8% fat and 3.3% protein in her first lactation. In short: a true all-rounder!
The Gywer RDC son from the Poppe Fienchen family, Poppe Freestyle-Red, is now available too. Freestyle-Red scores stunning in both Germany (163 gRZG) and the Netherlands/Flanders (315 gNVI). Another Gywer RDC son worth considering is ZFZ Crisalis RDC. He excels in his home land Italy with 4530 gPFT and in Germany he's highly appreciated with 157 gRZG. With +2805 gTPI he surely is the no. 1 gTPI red carrier! Crisalis RDC transmits a lot of milk with longer teats and correct teat position.
Available as well is the highest homozygous polled and red Caudumer Solitair P son Seidenfaden Holstein's Sailor PP Red. Sailor PP is at a high level (+159 gRZG & +258 gNVI), descends from the Wesswood-HC Rudy Missy EX-92 family and combines lots of milk, great type and scores great for Calving Ease.
