HHH-Show 2017; great day for Drouner Holsteins!
The Dutch national HHH-Show 2017 was a great show. Awesome junior champions and more “fireworks” in the intermediate and senior cow classes.
Junior B&W
The junior champion title went to Southland Dem Dellia 92 of Southland Holsteins. This balanced Dempsey daughter was placed over Seeger's Indiana who was named reserve junior champion. Indiana is owned by Schep Holsteins and Schouten Holsteins and she bought this summer after she was named reserve champion at the German National show earlier this year. Prairie Hoeve Hendrika 82 was named honourable mention. This Contrast daughter is owned by Harry Schuiling, housed at Mts. Withaar-Prent and she is breed by Prairie Hoeve Holsteins.

Intermediate B&W
The favourite for the intermediate championship was Bons-Holsteins Koba 219, and she did not disappoint. The Lauthority daughter looked awesome again and she was named intermediate champion. Reserve intermediate champion was HBC Sid Daydream, a Sid daughter of Schep Holsteins. She placed over Mogul daughter Drouner AJDH Cosmo owned by Drouner Holsteins. Cosmo was also part of the winning herdgroup of Drouner Holteins.

Senior B&W
The first class with senior cows was won by Geertje 567 owned by Mts. Van Dijk-De Bruin. The Windbrook daughter looked great and was placed over Drakker Bulona, a Shottle 41 daughter of Mts. Steegink-van den Berg. Some great cows showed in the oldest senior cow class. Take for example cows such as Marie 356, New Moore Esmerald 38, Jimm. Holstien Hellen 585 and Bons-Holsteins Ella 158. Mailing daughter Bons-Holsteins Ella 158, with 11.5 years old the oldes cows of the show, looked great again and she won this class. Foloowing her in second was Marie 356, owned by Mts. Jonkers-Meijer and Prairie Hoeve Holsteins. Esmeralda 38 placed 3rd and Hellen 585, with a lifetime production of over 115.000 kg of milk, placed 4th.
Ella 158 would probably be named senior champion every other day, but not at the HHH-Show 2017. Jury Erhard Junker from Switzerland chose for “the youth” and named the almost 6-year younger Geertje 567 his senior champion followed by Ella 158 and Bulona.

Grand Champion
In the battle for grand judge Junker again chose the youth. Bons-Holsteins Koba 219 was his “traumkuh“ and she was named grand champion. Reserve grand was Geertje 567 and Ella 158 was named reserve grand champion.
