Excellent cows from legendary cow families at Giessen Holsteins
Giessen Charity 59 now classified EX-91
At Giessen Holsteins three new cows are classified excellent. Among them one of the cows who is nominated to defend the Dutch honour at the European Championships in Colmar, France; Giessen Charity 59. This 3rd lactation Atwood daughter is now classified EX-91 with EX-93 F&L. Charity 59 is a great-granddaughter of the well-known Starleader daughter Charity 504 EX-94 and hails from the legendary Brookview Tony Charity EX-97. Charity 504 is two times NRM Champion and Tony Charity won the North American Double (World Dairy Expo & Royal Winter Fair) no fewer than 4 times (1983, 1984, 1985 and 1987).

The other two new excellent cows at Giessen Holsteins also hail out of impressive cowfamilies. Giessen Cinderella 51, who is classified EX-90, hails from the Cinderella / Roxy familie. Her dam is a VG-89 Canyon (Canyon-Breeze Storm Atom) daughter who produced almost 100.000 kg of milk and her granddam is Durham daughter Cinderella VG-89. The pedigree of Durham Cinderalla goes through an EX-92 Encore and a VG-88 Mark Cinder back at Hanoverhill Tony Rae EX-96, an Elevation Tony great-granddaughter of another legendary EX-97 classified cow; C Glenridge Citation Roxy.
Finally, Giessen Brittney 11. She is the first excellent Lauthority daughter in the Netherlands and also classified EX-90. Her dam is a VG-88 Throne daughter of Regancrest-RH Durham Bliss VG-89, a full sister to Regancrest-PR Barbie EX-92.
