Ananas, VOST Select Sale 7 topseller, founder of numerous high offspring!
Top seller VOST Select Sale 2019: Lot 3 Ananas P Red
Four years ago, during the VOST Select Sale 7, the then 3.5-months-old Ananas P Red was selling for a top price of € 40,000 and was the top seller of this elite auction. After arriving at her new owner in the Netherlands, the red and polled Zani Formation Minny EX 92 descendant quickly conquered the Red Holstein market, partly due to the success of her successful offspring.
This Gywer RDC daughter, bred by the German H. Mülder, comes from a deep, Italian cow family, namely that of Zani Formation Minny EX-92. Back in 2019, Ananas P Red belonged to the top of Europe's red genomics tested heifers with 378 gNVI, 4278 gPFT and 165 gRZG, as a polled and red Gywer RDC. Partly because of this, she attracted the attention of several AI stations, which meant that the Minny offspring was contracted for embryos for a total amount of no less than € 36,500!

Flushes were successful and resulted in over 40 offspring, male and female from Ananas P Red. Offspring tests high in several systems, such as a Delta Cartoon P-Red daughter with 157 gRZG, a polled full sister with 312 gNVI and a polled and red factor KAX Gladius daughter with 2852 gTPI/149 gRZG! From this Gladius, a Geronimo daughter was recently born in the Netherlands, which is polled and shows a towering gRZG. This makes this Ananas granddaughter the number 1 gRZG Geronimo daughter and even more special is the fact that she's polled! In addition to successful female offspring, some sons rank high as well. One of them is the bull Delta Tycho PP Red, a Star P RDC son with 246 gNVI and homozygous polled.
In addition to having grown into an important donor and bull dam, several (maternal) brothers of Ananas P Red have also been bought by various AI studs. For example, her full brother Grappa is stationed at VOST, as well as maternal brother Hunter PP (Hulk P) and GPlus GP-Atom-Red (Augustus P Red) & GPlus Aimoc Hooligan PP RC (Hotspot P), in Italy at GPlus.
