Big Anna Jacoba 153 wins the 'Beste Boerenkoe' competition
Big Anna Jacoba 153 EX-90 at the TASS 2022
During the election of the 'Beste Boerenkoe' from Tubbergen and surroundings, participating dairy cows from the Big Holsteins herd managed to profile themselves in different classes. This resulted in a win in the class of cows with four lactations. In this competition, not only the conformation of the participating cows is judged, but also udder health, milk production and fertility are taken into account in the final decision. The large number of cows participating was, in addition to being divided into regions, also divided into the number of calvings.
The fourth calver 'double' breeding product of the Knoef family, Big Anna Jacoba 153 EX-90 (Big Spell x Big Anna Jacoba 126 EX-90), took the win in her class. The Senior Champion of the Twente After Summer Show 2022 and Res. Intermediate Champion of the Twente After Summer Show 2021, comes from a long line of durable and very nice built cows, bred by Big Holsteins. Granddam of this Spell daughter is the dam of the popular bulls Big Malki (KI Samen) & Big Winnetoe (KI Kampen). In this competition she stayed ahead of Val-Bisson Doorman daughter Weiteman H Rika of the Dekker family.
