Solid classification day at De Oosterhof
Sonderfenner Hirts Gry P EX-90, dam to the classified 3STAR OH J Grytje P
This week, interesting milkers at De Oosterhof were classified, which, most of them in partnership with GenHotel, have achieved good results and grew into important donors. One of these classified cows is a Jersey, a direct daughter of Sonderfenner Hirts Gry P, the Danish, multiple bull dam!
3STAR OH J Grytje P by VJ Hamulus was the first to be shown to the classifier. The first calver received a score of VG-85 with VG-87 for her milk type. She was purchased as an embryo by De Oosterhof and GenHotel. In addition to Grytje P, a full brother, 3STAR OH Lars P, and a maternal brother, 3STAR OH Niels PP (by Waskiv P), were born. Both bulls were purchased by AI companies and are very popular. A third brother, Sonderfenner Nibi P, sired by VJ Nibali, is also in AI.

Next in line is the second calver De Oosterhof DG Leida, from the line of proven sires Topmodel and Doble RC, bred (in combined partnership with DG) by Willem Scholten. Leida is a Hurtgenlea Richard Charl out of a VG-85 AltaTopshot, the maternal-sister of the bulls mentioned above. Leida's granddaughters already have impressive scores up to almost 3200 gTPI and up to 160 gRZG! Leida her re-classification led to a score of VG-85 with VG-88 DS.

De Oosterhof DG Leida VG-85
DG OH Donna RDC VG-89, granddam Leida
3STAR OH Alexia Red, is a second calver sired by Hoogerhorst DG OH Rubels-Red and out of brood cow Batouwe Ailisha Salva Red VG-85. She received her first score of GP-84 with VG-87 DS. Alexia's daughter, De Oosterhof 3STAR Juliane Red, has had a significant influence on the breeding program of De Oosterhof and GenHotel (3STAR Genetics). The number of offspring from her is already 16. One of her most interesting daughters is De Oosterhof 3STAR Julie P Red, a Tirsvad 3STAR Member PP Red that was sold to CRV. Another granddaughter, 3STAR OH Juliet RDC (Skat P RDC x Star P RDC), also showed a good NVI result, and Wilra SSI Regal Enclave daughter 3STAR OH Javela RDC has tested 153 gRZG and is still waiting for her TPI result.
