The at 2.01-yr-old freshened 3STAR OH Mariska RDC (by Ranger-Red) is owned by Alsgårds Lantbruk, Melkveebedrijf De Oosterhof, and GenHotel. As a yearling, she has been flushed a few times, resulting in the high-testing Boero RF daughter Alsgaard OH 3STAR Molly Red with 2952 gTPI and 159 gRZG. With Molly Red red, top genetic R&W branch from Marbella VG-89 is established!
The genetic potential of Mariska RDC is not a surprise, given that her dam, Tirsvad K&L Riveting Magnolia GP-84, and her granddam, Mistral EX-91, have also been important to the breeding program. Breeding with Magnolia has resulted in about 60 offspring. Notably, three full brothers of Mariska RDC have been sold to Semex, and bulls like Holbra 3STAR Cojack, 3STAR OH Funaki, and De Oosterhof 3STAR Megastar have also caught the attention of AI stations.
