Great scores for daughters of former sires of sons
Granddam Discovery 3 P Red: KNS Discogirl P Red VG-87
The recent classification revealed impressive results for Koepon, with scores reaching to VG-89. Notably, the daughters of 3STAR OH Ranger-Red averaged above VG, while daughters of former sires Gameday and Parfect also made a favorable impression.
The highest classified 2-year-old was Koepon Ranger Doma 59 RDC (Ranger Red x AltaAltuve RDC), who received a score of VG-87 and achieved a maximum of VG-89 TY. Doma 59 RDC is one of three scored full sisters. Koepon Ranger Doma 60 Red, used as an embryo donor, garnered a score of VG-85 (VG-88 MS). This Ranger Red daughter impressed with her gNVI and gTPI, leading to matings with bulls such as AltaSamson, AltaKawaii, and Dg Absolve RC. These pairings produced red and red-factor daughters with outstanding genomic results, including Koepon Samson Doma 85 RDC, who scored 3049 gTPI, 373 gNVI, and 142 gRZG. On average, the three sisters scored VG 85.3.

From the Koepon Classy family, Ranger-Red daughter Koepon Ranger Classy 496 RDC was classified with VG-87 and VG-88 for Type and Feet & Legs. She was contracted by German AI studs, was flushed, and produced several offspring, including the SHK Skat P RDC daughter Koepon Skat Classy 526 P RDC, which achieved remarkable scores of 147 gRZG, 2887 gTPI, and 361 gNVI. Classy 526 P RDC also became the highest polled Holstein heifer for gNVI in December 2023.
During the Highlight Sale in 2021, WIT Discovery P Red was purchased, leading to the birth of the polled daughter Koepon Ranger P Discovery 3 P Red (sired by Ranger Red). This daughter classified VG-86 with VG-88 Frame. As one of the few Red and polled Ranger daughters of her age, she was included in Koepon’s flushing program. In November 2023, Koepon Fred Discovery 14 PP Red was born from a mating with DW Fred Red P. Owing to her high indexes across multiple systems, this heifer was potentially the highest homozygous polled heifer in the world, currently scoring 156 gRZG, 2766 gTPI, and 313 gNVI.

On average, the Ranger daughters at Koepon scored VG 85.8. The influence of the Rubels son from Koepon's Lakeside Ups Red Range VG-86, is significant. Now that his daughters around the globe come in procution, he is confirming his strengths based on their performance.
Koepon Parfect Range 107 RDC is the highest classified daughter sired by Parfect, with VG-87. She follows in the footsteps of her dam and granddam, Red Range VG-86. This lineage has shown remarkable capabilities, as evidenced by the fact that five of her daughters have recorded a gTPI of over 3000. Her highest-testing daughter, sired by AltaSamson, is Koepon Samson Range 335, boasting an impressive gTPI of 3107. Among a total of 25 scored 2-yr-olds, the average went up to VG-85, with averaging VG-85.5 on Udders.
Lakeside Ups Red Range VG-86, 4th lactation
The 25 classified 2-yr-olds achieved an average score of VG-85, with an Udder score of VG-85.5.
Koepon Zazzle Cherry 13, a second lactation AltaZazzle from the Classy family, received an impressive score of VG-89. Similarly, Koepon Malki Adeline 7, a daughter of Big Malki, also received 89 points. She is one of the two daughters from Koepon Tango Adeline RDC VG-89. Adeline 7 is a Tango granddaughter of Durham Altitude RDC EX-95, making her the 9th generation of VG/EX. Her dairy strength good for EX-91.
