First '3STAR' with excellent classification!
Schuit K&L Mona GP-84
In 2020, the prefix of GenHotel's breeding program changed from K&L to 3STAR. Since then, this new prefix has been indispensable in the top genomic lists for both female and males around the globe. The first proven bulls with the new prefix were succesfull introduced in the proof run last December as well, like 3STAR Signal P & 3STAR Ranger Red. This week, we received exciting news about the first excellent cow from the 3STAR Breeding Program: 3STAR FM Monalisa!
Monalisa calved for the third time last summer at Beerzedal Holsteins, where the Freemax daughter is housed. The excellent care and conditions provided by the farm of the Dieker family contribute not only to Monalisa's impressive appearance but also to her outstanding production records: in her 3rd lactation, she is projected in 305-days with 16,283 kgM4.53% fat and 3.45% protein.
Additionally, Monalisa has been bred further through insemination, resulting in a pregnancy that produced Monalisa 2 Mecca. This Mecca P-daughter, born in June 2023, currently still tests high with 2926 gTPI.
Monalisa is a daughter of Schuit K&L Mona GP-84, a heavily flushed Lightstar daughter from the Wilder Maja cow family. This line, bred by Herman and Norbert Holtkamp, also produced the highly (still) sought-after daughter proven, Wilder Mark RDC.
3STAR FM Monalisa scored EX-91 FR EX-92 DS VG-89 MS VG-89 FL - EX-90.
