Successful Den Hamer Selection Sale
The Den Hamer Selection Sale was very successful. 22 lots sold for an average price of € 2.268,-. There was an overwhelming interest for the genetics bred by Peter Boghaert and at least 5 lots sold for the buy-now price. Evantually lots were sold to 4 different countries but most of them will go to farmers in Belgium.
Topseller
The topseller of the sale was Den Hamer Battlecry Nicole (lot 12). She is sold for € 9.000,- to Roccafarm Holsteins owned by Ivo Hulsbosch. Nicole is a +160 GRZG / +300 GNVI Battlecry granddaughter of Tirsvad Bookem Nessie VG-89.
The second high seller of the sale was lot 7: Den Hamer Bagno Beautifly Red (€ 5.200,-). This pedigree of this +153 GRZG / +260 GNVI Bagno goes back at Camary Soet VD Bommelboshoeve VG-88. Jackie Vanminsel, Maaseik, is her new owner.
Cows
There was also a lot of interest in the milking heifers / cows (average price € 2.805,-). Highest among them was Den Hamer Ellmau Farah Red (lot 24) who sold for € 3.500,-. The new owner of this fancy and high producing Ellmau daughter is Robert Overvelde from Beemte Broekland (Netherlands).
