For several years now, Schreur Holsteins has been broadening their horizons by breeding for polled within the Red Holstein population. With success, because several homozygous polled males and females have already been born under the Schreur flag. This also applies to Schreur Sunny 18 PP Red, which will be sold next Friday during the SonderKollektion.
As her name may suggest, she descends from the well-known breeding cow K&L SV Sunny Red GP-84. With this important brood cow as granddam, Sunny 18 PP Red belongs to the same cow family as Mr Salvatore RDC, Walnutlawn Solomon, Westcoast Swingman Red and Schreur Shimmer RDC, also bred by Schreur Holsteins (the Reurslag family).
Dam K&L OH Smashing P Red (by Tirsvad Match P RDC) was purchased by Bouw Holsteins during the VOST Select Sale in 2019, calved for the first time in October 2021 at Schreur Holsteins and is now working on her second lactation with a 305-day projection of no less than 11,052 kgs of milk. With multiple bull dam Sunny Red GP-84 as her dam, Smashing P Red is the full sister of K&L OH Matty P RDC @RUW!
This homozygous polled Delta Cartoon P Red daughter also has the potential to grow into an important bulldam herself! In addition to her 151 gRZG (1776 kgM), Sunny 18 PP Red also scores 1479 gISET with 149 ND in Switzerland.
