De Oosterhof Dg Rose RDC recently received a visit from Phönix Group
De Oosterhof Dg Rose RDC VG-89, 8.5-yrs-old, has become a prominent name in the pedigrees of many highly ranked cows and bulls in Europe. She was bought by Sudena Holsteins as a lactating 2-yr-old and is now in her fifth lactation, still serving as an influential brood cow for the Mensink family.
Recently, German sireanalysts of Phönix visited Rose RDC, an impressive Rubicon daughter with a lifetime production of over 70,000 kgM. Rose RDC VG-89 has over 70 direct offspring, and possibly three times that number of ''grandchildren and great-grandchildren''. She is a major contributor to the current top Red Holstein population.
Rose RDC is also known as the dam of Red Impact Cow of 2021, Lakeside Ups Red Range VG-86. The VG-86 Salvatore RC daughter was born before Rose RDC came in production. She was the then no. 1 gTPI Red & White cow worldwide and was sold by the Van Vliet family to Koepon which had great expectations due to her enourmous genomics potential. The VG-89 Rubicon also bred sire Sudena Safari Red, a Spark Red son who was in the top 10 red-and-white in Switzerland for a long time and can expact his first index based on his daughters later this year. Rose RDC's influence can also be seen through her grandson, Rubels-Red son 3STAR OH Ranger Red, who was the no. 1 red genomics bull worldwide for several proof runs in a row. His first wonderful looking milking daughters are now appearing all over the world!
