WKF Holsteins celebrates successful classification day!

For the passionate breeders of WKF Holsteins, an exciting moment arrived as a few young females received their first classification scores. There was much excitement due to several VG classifications.

Siemers Rengd Parfect daughter WKF Parfect Annemiek was the first to be classified. The heifer, calved at 2.02 yrs, received a score of VG-86, with her VG-87 Dairy Strength being the standout feature. The VG-86 classified Parfect comes from a long line of high gTPI-testing females and good milk producers. Her fourth dam is the American Aija Supersire Makea VG-86 (by Supersire), which produced several sons for AI.

WKF Parfect Esther, paternal sister to Annemiek, also received a score of VG-86. Her udder was exceptional and was rated with 87 points. Esther's pedigree can be traced back to the foundation cow Royal Idevra Titanic Estate EX-90. Despite being over 2 years old, Esther has maintained a consistent TPI and currently tests at 2933 TPI with very high fat & protein, which is also reflected in her actual production. She comes from the same cow family as JK Eder Medley Evalyn 1 EX-90 (s. Abs Medley), who was the Grand Champion & won Best Udder at @Fokveedag Oldebroek'22.

Same family: JK Eder Medley Evalyn 1 EX-90

Two full sisters, sired by KAX Gladius, are directly related to the well-known black cow Veelhorst Vekis Melody VG-87, owned by Beeze Holsteins. Both WKF Gladius Minni and WKF Gladius Maxi received a score of VG-86 during their first classification round. From Minni VG-86, the WKF team owns a Red Rocks Mask-Red daughter, who is among the top 15 on the Black & White gNVI females with an impressive 387 gNVI! This makes WKF Mask Moniek RDC the no. 1 Mask-Red daughter on a Black & White basis.
