Hood ATM Jessica has been classified EX-93 recently in her 3rd lactation! Hood ATM Jessica was bought at the GenHotel Selection Sale by Sahara Holsteins and is a great broodcow.
In 2008 K&L saw RC-LC Goldwyn ATM as a fresh young cow in the USA and it was one of the best young cows MArtijn van der Boom ever saw. Because ATM was so special K&L decided to order many embryos (despite the fact that the dam was classified GP-82 and the family was not very hot at that time. ATM was classified VG-89 later and the O-man dam received VG-86. We thought Outside blood could fit real well on ATM and we thought Jeeves was the right mating, because of adding some balance. The embryos went to Hood Holsteins and two heifers were born. Meanwhile genomic testing started and ATM was a top 10 GTPI cow! Her progeny was extremely vailable now and the owners did not sell any embryos anymore. The only direct daughters in Europe from ATM are from K&L Embryos. Boudewijn Koole picked one heifer for the K&L selection Sale. Their indexes were simular, but Hood ATM Jessica was a super heifer, so it was easy to make a choice!
On the GenHotel Selection Sale Hood ATM Jessica was sold to Sahara Holsteins. She became a very important broodcow and a great indivudual! She was classified EX-93 recently and and has a lot of great progeny on several farms in England and also in Holland at Lakeside Holsteins and De Dorre Holsteins. ATM Jessica her first 8 daughters in England are classified 85.5 in average! K&L is very happy to have delivered Hood ATM Jessica to Hood and later to Sahara Holsteins We wish Sahara and Wiltor succes in the future with Hood ATM Jessica. In the Top 100 GPLI heifers are 7 granddaughters of Hood ATM Jessica, among them the No. 4 GPLI heifer!
