The full sister of the bull Willem's-Hoeve Steyr, Willem's-Hoeve Rita 2340, was recently photographed at Willem's-Hoeve Holsteins, her breeder and owner. The result is stunning!
Recently we already wrote an article about the Midwolder Martin daughter of Willem's-Hoeve Rita 1626A VG-86 (Jetset), when she was classified VG-86 & VG-88 MS. The 2-yr-old freshened in May and is projected at 9,551 kgs of milk with 4.33% fat and 3.56% protein in 305 days. Rita 2340 VG-86 was flushed to the homozygous polled Delta Launch PP Red, which resulted in the birth of five heifer calves. Once genomics tested, daughter Willem's-Hoeve Rita 2766 P RDC came out on top with 352 gNVI & 147 gRZG. The profile also shows enormous components with good, functional type. Rita 2766 P RDC carries both BB and A2A2.
The VG-86 Jetset, Willem's-Hoeve Rita 1626A, was for a long time one of the highest milk transmitters based on her NVI index. Since there was high demand for her female offspring, she was flushed several times. In addition to the bull Steyr @KI Kampen and Rita 2340 VG-86, De Jong also bred a high Manders Dazzel from the Jetset: Willem's-Hoeve Rita 2078 GP-84. The mating with Peak Remington delivered the 351 gNVI (8-2022) scoring Willem's-Hoeve Rita 2438, the number 2 gNVI B&W in 12-2020. In January 2023, Rita 2438 will calve for the first time.
More news about this family. Willem's-Hoeve Rita 1893 (Diamondback RDC x VG-85 Atwood) raised her score to an outstanding EX-90 with EX-92TY in her third lactation last week! A second calver, full sister of hers is running her second lacation and classified VG-87 as a 2-yr-old.
