GenHotel Selection Sale purchases grow into outstanding 2-yr-olds!
The fancy calf Drouner K&L Claxima 1706 developped into a great milking heifer!
In 2020, Dykster Holsteins invested in two amazing animals that were offered during the GenHotel Selection Sale. In the meantime, both have started their first lactation and we can now enjoy those great milking 2-yr-olds that live up to the high expectations!
With 164 gRZG/4141 gPFT/200 gISU, Westcoast Soundcloud Drouner K&L Claxima 1706 was one of the highest heifer calves offered at the GenHotel Selection Sale in March 2020. On the German basis, the transmitting profile showed 131 EUT (128 gRZE) with 133 gRZN and even in Italy her gPFT showed a big will for milk production. Claxima 1706 came to the attention of European breeding organizations, and so she was sold with a total contract value of € 14,850!
The Koepon Classy family, from which this Soundcloud originates, is the foundation behind well-known names like proven sire in Germany Koepon Beatclub, 3STAR Breeding Program figurehead Drouner K&L Classy VG-87 (by Superhero) and maternal brother of Claxima 1706's dam: Drouner Classic (by Charley)! This cow family guarantees a high milk production, functional type with fantastic udders and outliers in indexes. For example, Dykster Holsteins bred an enormously high Siemers Brave daughter out of the Soundcloud named Dykster 3STAR Claxiva. With 156 gRZG, 2909 gTPI/1026 NM$ (preliminary) and a stunning index in France!

In August 2020, Dykster Holsteins expanded the herd with Tirsvad 3STAR Simon Muscat P, a KNS Simon P out of bull dam Pen-Col Superhero Mistral VG-89! With this they invested in a polled, full sister of Tirsvad 3STAR Mumbai P @Intermizoo. With 158 gRZG & A2A2, Muscat P was one of the sale favorites of the GenHotel Selection Sale and after being sold even more promising test results came in!
The first calver Simon P still is 3995 gPFT & g150 RZG and therefore - besides maternal-sister Tirsvad K&L Riveting Mercedes - still one of the highest daughters of Mistral VG-89. Dykster Holsteins bred together with GenHotel another gem: The polled KAX Gladius with no less than 155 gRZG: Dykster 3STAR Muskax P.
This branch leads back to the impressive Gold-N-Oaks Morty Malibu EX-94. Many breeding bulls from this foundation cow ended up at AI stations, such as Gold-N-Oaks Althea, Arabia, Magnus, Missile and the number 1 LPI daughterproven sire in Canada, Westcoast Alcove.
