The Rocky-Vu Rotate Extasy Ebony family achieves success once again!
Zandenburg Imax Ebony, was one of the EX-90 scored cows
The Rocky-Vu Rotate Extasy Ebony cow family has become a signature family for the Zandenburg Holsteins herd, which is owned by the Sommers family. During the recent classification, two newly scored excellent cows from this line were highlighted, adding to this family's many successes.
The fourth calver Zandenburg Imax Ebony significantly increased her 2-yr-old score from VG-86 to EX-90, with an impressive EX-92 score for her mammary. This daughter of Silverridge V Imax is a direct offspring from the VG-88 scored Zandenburg Merchand Ebony. Another standout from the Ebony family is Zandenburg Gywer Ebony1, a third-calver sired by Gywer RDC. She was awarded a fantastic EX-90 (EX-92 DS) score. Gywer RDC is a former sire of sons, and Ebony1 is one of his first excellent daughters in the Netherlands. Both animals can be traced back to Zandenburg Goldwyn Ebony VG-86, a brood cow that produced proven bulls Zandenburg Phantom and Zandenburg Harvest.
Zandenburg Gywer Ebony1 EX-90
The third cow to achieve an Excellent classification is the fourth lactation Zandenburg Montana Fabiola, a daughter of Ihg Montana (Montross x Numero Uno). Montana is a bull that has been relatively underused in the Netherlands, but has been a successful match for the Sommers family with Fabiola. She was awarded with EX-90 and got an impressive EX-93 for her udder.
